Church Banner UUMC

Church BannerThis banner was an effort of a group of people from our church. We worked for months on it. The committee was a group of artist of every age. My daughter and I designed how the curved lettering would work on the banner. I also stitched the large letters that say the name of our church. We are very fortunate to have such a great group of gifted people willing to give of their time toward this banner.

    Sharon,

Your banner is beautiful. I make banners for my small church and am always looking for creative designs. I’m wondering how you were able to do the gold lettering. Did you hand stitch each letter to the banner or is it done in machine embroidery?

I am so glad that you visited my sight. I was able to do the lettering in groups of letters on my Embroidery machine. My daughter and I worked very hard to get the letters to curve a certain way as they went around the banner. Kelly and I both worked on getting the banner done. It was a project that a group of us got together and created. My mom was also in the group so you know how much fun the three generations had!!!! We are very proud of the banner. Please let me know if I can work with you on a banner or if you just need some encouragement from a fellow designer. I will be glad to help.
    Have a great day

    Greetings,

I happened to stumble upon your website because I’m looking for a person to do 2 banners for my small church in MD. Tell me, are you still doing banners (like the one above) and if so, what do you charge?

Thank you for displaying your beautiful banner. I am looking to create one for my church. Can you tell me what fabric you used for the gold cross in the center?
